Agewise Recruitment (Joffe Lloyd Associates Limited) is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and complies with its requirements. Data is held on both candidates and clients to enable us to provide you with recruitment, training and consultancy services. No personally identifiable information will be disclosed to a third party without prior consent. For instance, candidates will be asked permission before their CV is submitted to an employer. Agewise is committed to respecting the privacy of both its candidates and clients.
Candidates
You supply information about your employment history, skills, work preferences, references and contact details to enable Agewise to identify suitable job and training opportunities for you. We will not disclose this, or any other identifiable information you may supply, to an employer (or anyone else) without your consent. Employers are not able to access our database directly and will only see your CV if you agree that you want it to be submitted to them.
You should contact us if your circumstances change so we can update your information, for instance if you move, undertake extra training, or have a new job. It is your responsibility to make sure that the data relating to you is accurate and current.
Clients
Agewise will hold the data that you supply about your company, personnel and location, and other relevant information. This data will not be publicly available. We circulate the jobs that you place with us to suitably qualified candidates but we will not pass on your contact details except to candidates whom you have selected for interview. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you supply to Agewise is accurate and up-to-date.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Cookies can be used to show which pages are most visited, and therefore what information is most useful. It helps us provide more of the content you value and to rethink that which is less visited. It makes the site more efficient. If you never leave personal information at a site and you return to the site at a later time, the server only knows that your cookie has returned to the website – it doesn’t know anything else about you.
Your IP address is used to administer the site, analyse trends and monitor visitor frequency. It is not linked to personally identifiable information.
