‘Proven Track Record’ – Prove it!
One way to summarise the highlights of your career is to list your achievements. Where possible, make them practical and hard-hitting by quantifying them. This is straightforward for managers, sales and finance people but needs a bit more thought if you’ve been the backbone of the office. For instance, you may have saved money through efficient working practices or trimming waste. But other contributions count, too. You may have made a difference by acting as a mentor to younger staff, running the company induction scheme or being responsible for health and safety. It’s all proven and valuable experience.
